Emma Lawrence of ELIllustration with her piece entitled 'The Beauty within Florence', shown at Wolverhampton Art Gallery in June 2018

In June 2018 I exhibited at Wolverhampton Art Gallery taking part in an End of Year show. The piece of work was very much inspired by a recent trip to Florence, with the title of my piece being 'The Beauty within Florence'. I wanted to allow the audience to feel a connection to the city of Florence thereby inspiring them to explore and take on an opportunity that they might not have considered experiencing. Displaying this piece within an art gallery space allowed the artwork to show how big an impact the beauty has within a small city.

I achieved a Best in Show award for this exhibit.

In 2019 I exhibited at the MAC Exhibition Hall in Birmingham as part of the 50th Anniversary of the first Moon Landing: Apollo 11 Mission. These pieces were created using etched drawings in perspex and crystal, two of which were delicately placed on spinning platforms to reflect the earth's rotation within space.
